My most unforgettable trip last year was visiting Kruger National Park in South Africaβmy first safari camp of many, I hope! I caught the safari bug fast, and during a drive, I met a lady whoβs been on over 27 safaris in her lifetime. If my wallet can keep up, Iβd love to be her when I grow up.
If a safariβs on your bucket list and youβre ready to bite the bullet this year check out the best new safari camps of 2025!

Play Airlines Flash Sale: 25% Off Europe Flights |
Grab your suitcase and letβs get up out of here! Low-cost Icelandic airline, PLAY Airlines is running a 25% discount on flights from the States to Europe, including hotspots like Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, and Paris throughout spring, fall, and winter.
The discounted fares must be booked by February 6 and are for PLAY Basic, which covers just a small bag or backpackβno advance seat assignments included, and changes come with a fee, so youβll have to factor in an extra cost.
The discounted flights will depart from Baltimore/Washington (BWI), Boston (BOS), and New York Stewart International Airport (SWF), 67 miles north of Manhattan. If you're not near these cities, what I've done before is make a trip out of the departure cityβspend at least two days exploring before catching the flight. Itβs a great way to make the most of the journey if you have the time off.
π Where can I fly to?
Travelers can fly directly to Iceland (KEF) or take a connecting flight through Iceland to Copenhagen (CPH), Paris (CDG), Berlin (BER), Dublin (DUB), Amsterdam (AMS), and London (STN). For example, a round-trip from Boston to Paris in October 2025 is typically $345, but with the discount, itβs $300. You can also enjoy a free stopover in Iceland for up to ten daysβperfect for some extra fun! The deals are first-come, first-served, so donβt drag your feet. |

Europeβs Most Affordable Digital Nomad Visas
|
This summer, I am headed to the South of France for a month and have been thinking about how the trip could potentially kickstart my journey toward becoming a digital nomad. Possibly! I can be indecisive.
In the early stages of these thoughts, Iβve been considering places in Europe where I can get an affordable digital nomad visa, and there are quite a few options to choose from. If you're curious, Iβve got the deets on the lowest income requirements for you!
Digital nomad visas that are easy on the wallet:
π¦π± Albania: The countryβs Unique Permit allows digital nomads to stay for one year, renewable up to five times. Applicants must show proof that they work remotely and make at least $10,167 a year. If you need a little convincing, these are the best things to do in the Albanian Rivieria.
π²πͺ Montenegro: You can get a digital nomad visa for up to four years, with a $1,452 monthly income requirement. Tax breaks are included, though details are still being finalized.
πͺπΈ Spain: The country recently increased its digital nomad visa income threshold to $2,867 per month for 2025, but it remains one of the more affordable options in Europe. With gorgeous destinations like Mallorca, Ibiza (hello, best beach clubs), Marbella, and Seville this is a top contender for me!
Check out the other countries that have a higher income requirement for a digital nomad visa but are still affordable for Europe considering the cost of living, quality of life, and potential tax benefits they offer. |

Travelers Can Redeem JetBlue Points on TAP Portugal
|
Have JetBlue points sitting in your account waiting to be used? You can now go beyond their route map because JetBlueβs TrueBlue points now work for flights on TAP Portugal, connecting US airports to Portugal and countries beyond.
JetBlue operates flights to 104 destinations across the Americas, including the US, the Caribbean, parts of Central and South America, and four destinations in Europe. This partnership opens up a whole new world of travel options.
βοΈ How to redeem TrueBlue points for TAP Portugal:
Whether youβre flying economy or business, flights from both the East and West Coasts to Portugal are priced the sameβ19,000 points in economy and 59,000 points in business. Thankfully, taxes and fees are minimal, with no added surcharges, so you'll save your wallet! Just head to JetBlueβs website and click Use TrueBlue points to book.
JetBlue's TrueBlue points offer a cheaper way to fly to Portugal compared to other programs like United and Aeroplan, which charge significantly more. While connecting flights can get pricier, especially from the West Coast (sorry, y'all), JetBlue still offers an affordable option for travelers heading to Portugal. If youβve got TrueBlue points, itβs definitely worth considering! |
