Las Vegas Launches Fabulous 5-Day Sale To Lure Back Tourists
|
|
Las Vegas is doing all it can to get tourists back into the air-conditioned casinos after a significant seven-month slowdown, down 11.3% from last year. Vegas is hosting its first-ever Fabulous 5-Day Sale as part of the Welcome to Fabulous campaign, giving people plenty of reasons to return. From now until September 26, over 100 offers are on the table.
🏨 Hotel and resorts at a discount
You can get up to 50% off rooms at Caesars and MGM spots, $200 all-in packages at Golden Gate or The D, no resort fees at Golden Nugget, up to $500 in hotel credit for spa treatments at the Four Seasons, or 25% off plus a $25 daily food and beverage credit at my favorite hotel there, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
🍽 Food and drink perks
Vegas is feeding us well on this one. Eataly has a $36 prix fixe, Blondies is doing a $20 open bar, and Guy’s Flavortown has an all-you-can-eat brunch for $19.99. If you are a steak lover, Tony Roma’s prime rib is just $15.99, or try Jack Binion’s for endless prime rib at $49.99. And that is just a taste of all the foodie and drink deals.
🎭 Shows and live entertainment
Tickets start at just $50 for a bunch of Caesars shows, including Donny Osmond, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live, and Mat Franco. Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère at Treasure Island is also going for $52.50, and even Rod Stewart’s residency starts at just $40.
I’d say now is the perfect time to see Vegas the way you have always dreamed because so many more experiences are on sale. And if you are ready to make it official, there are even “I Do” deals to tie the knot with your lovebird.
See the full list of offers before September 26. Just remember, these deals are limited, subject to availability, and come with blackout dates. |

Spirit Fall Flights Start at Just $44
|
|
Fall is officially here! Summer ended yesterday, and to welcome the new season, Spirit Airlines is dropping fares with one-way flights starting at $44 to all the best fall destinations. The only catch is that you’ll need to book by September 24.
The fall deals are valid for travel between October 7 and December 17, but Fridays and Sundays aren’t included in the sale. There are also a few blackout dates to keep in mind: November 11-12 and 26-29. To take advantage of the savings, you’ll need to book directly on Spirit’s website or at a Spirit ticket counter if you’re old school like that.
✈️ Fall fare deals:
-
Cleveland to Fort Lauderdale - $44
-
Dallas to New York or New York to Dallas - $49
-
Nashville to Boston - $67
-
Los Angeles to Columbus, Ohio - $69
-
Boston to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - $72
These fares include only a personal item and no choice of seat or checked luggage, so be wary of that when booking. You’ll have to pack very light or fork out some extra money. See all the autumn fare sales here! |

Triple Your IHG Points Through 2025
|
|
IHG is currently running a One Rewards promo, handing out bonus points this fall with double points on your second stay and triple points from your third stay onward. The offer runs from October 1 through December 31, so if you’ve got trips in mind, this is a great excuse to squeeze in a little more travel before the year is over.
The fall promo skips your first stay but rewards you with double points on your second and triple points from your third on. You can get as many as 70,000 bonus points if you play it right. Just make sure your stays are at least one night, and cost over $30. Anything booked outside the offer dates or before registration doesn’t count. Reward nights, points, and cash stays, and third-party bookings don’t qualify. You’ll only earn double or triple points on one room per night, and bonus points won’t count toward elite status.
🏨 IHG’s method for calculating double and triple points:
It’s worth knowing how IHG actually calculates these double and triple points, as they are not quite as generous as they sound, especially if you already have IHG elite status. The promotion only multiplies your base points, not the extra ones you normally earn with status.
Most IHG hotels give you ten base points per dollar, while Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites only give you five. If you spend $100 at a Holiday Inn Express and you will get 1,000 base points. On your second stay, that means an extra 1,000 bonus points, and from your third stay on, you will earn 2,000 bonus points. The points add up, but if you are hoping your elite status would stack with this promotion, it will not. |
